What’s better than a Raya dinner? A Raya dinner that doubles as a surprise birthday party for our CEO! Yep, it was a night filled with unexpected turns, delightful moments and a table full of food.

Everyone came in gorgeous traditional Malay attire, we kicked off the evening with a feast of delicious cuisine. We tried a variety of traditional Malay cuisine such as nasi impit, satay, rendang, kambing, and many more. Every dish served made us drool just by the scent of the food.

But the highlight? Our very own Leong’s surprise birthday celebration! The look on his face when the cake came out was unforgettable. And oh, the laughs we shared as everyone tried their best to keep the secret under wraps until the big reveal. Leong thought the moment where Naim threw tech related questions was a distraction for the surprise but actually Naim was surprised too. Haha 😂

In true GREEN-i fashion, every event must have some funny moments, adding a dash of humour to our evening. Naim shared that he was all set to carpool with Hans, but found himself left behind in a last-minute wardrobe change. As he dashed to the carpark, Hans was nowhere to be seen! Luckily Jim saved the day and proved once again that we’re all about teamwork and looking out for each other.

As the night rolled on, we shared stories, reminisced about the past year, and laughed over the little hiccups that turned into memorable tales. It’s evenings like these that remind us why we’re more than just colleagues—we’re brothers and sisters that celebrate together, support one another, and aren’t afraid to enjoy a good laugh, even if it’s at our own expense.
